Ocean is supporting The Big Do, a UK wide community celebration of fun, friendship and action, with a month long OOH campaign. Messages encouraging people to take part in their local events are appearing across almost 60 screens in seven cities including Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and London.
The Big Do combines two popular annual initiatives: The Big Lunch and The Big Help Out. Running since 2009, The Big Lunch is the UK’s annual get together for neighbours and communities to come together to share friendship, food and fun. More than 10 million people took part last year.
Ocean has supported The Big Help Out since it first started in 2023, encouraging people to have a go at volunteering or lending a hand to others. Millions took part in 2024 and 2025, with charities offering accessible opportunities for people to try volunteering across a range of good causes and projects.
This year’s OOH campaign is presented in partnership with the Together Coalition and The Eden Project. The Big Do takes place from 5th-8th June.
