Ocean Outdoor extends women’s sports portfolio with exclusive Sky Sports partnership

Ocean Outdoor UK and Sky Sports have agreed a bespoke partnership which will see top action from women’s golf and US Open tennis added to Ocean’s roster of premium sports content.

The agreement covers content from the US Open Tennis and the Solheim Cup, giving official competition, brand and broadcast partners a chance to align with curated DOOH broadcast highlights.

Running until 13th September, daily coverage will appear at scale across Ocean’s network of  large format premium screens in key UK cities. The agreement builds on Ocean’s women’s and men’s sports partnerships portfolio, which has also featured action from the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, sponsored by Metro Bank and The Hundred.

Daily coverage of both the men’s and women’s US Tennis Open will appear across Ocean screens from 31st August, followed by five days of women’s golf action from The Solheim Cup which is hosted by The Netherlands from 7th September.

Ocean Outdoor UK CEO Nick Shaw said: “Women’s sport is seeing significant growth in fan base, viewership and stadium attendances, with brands more interested than ever in gaining association via sponsorships and exposure. Our new alliance with Sky Sports builds on Ocean’s long and successful track record of sports content delivery, and represents a huge new opportunity for advertisers. It keeps us at the forefront of a rapidly expanding and highly valuable space, whilst building on our unique position within the Out of Home (OOH) market as a sports, culture and entertainment content channel.”

The inaugural Hundred Auction, the first professional sporting auction in the UK, kicked things off at Landsec’s The Venue, located beneath Piccadilly Lights in London on 11th and 12th March, with the women’s and men’s events televised live by Sky Sports.

Ocean’s summer sports calendar then opened up with the 2026 edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup from 12th June to 5th July, with the final played at Lord’s. Sky Sports covered every match live, with highlights supplied daily, and clips running across Ocean screens each following day.

Highlights from The Hundred tournament followed from 21st July with eight men’s and women’s teams vying to reach the finals on 16th August.

Sky Sports is the home of The Hundred with all 68 matches live, plus news, clips and highlights shown across all of Sky’s platforms.

Ocean’s sports portfolio also includes the Barclays Women’s Super League, England’s Red Roses women’s team, and the men’s senior England team. Ocean curated and managed the AELTC’s official Wimbledon fan village which was hosted by Battersea Power Station this summer. The fan village delivered 144 hours of live tennis with an average 2.2 hours dwell time and 250,000 footfall* (*overall Battersea Power Station estate).
