Warner Bros. Pictures marks the upcoming release of Tim Burton’s highly anticipated sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, in cinemas 6 September, with a suitably ghoulish takeover of Westfield Stratford City, London.
The bespoke Out of home installation covers the expanse of the Meridian Steps with a swarm of larger-than-life beetles and the message, ‘You’ve waited an eternity for this’.
Building anticipation further, artwork spans the entire Westfield Stratford Bridge featuring characters from the film franchise.
The OOH work features a black and white motif throughout as a nod to Beetlejuice’s iconic black and white suit. It’s accompanied by vinyls and large format posters across Ocean Outdoor’s digital screens positioned within the retail and leisure destination. The campaign was planned through PHD and Kinetic and runs for four weeks.
The film’s star-studded cast includes Michael Keaton who returns as Beetlejuice, alongside Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz and Catherine O’Hara as Delia Deetz, with new cast members Justin Theroux as Rory, Monica Bellucci as Delores, with Jenna Ortega as Lydia’s daughter, Astrid and Willem Dafoe as Wolf Jackson.
