The XL - Downing Street Approach is located on one of Manchester’s main arterial roads, at a key intersection near the Mancunian Way.

Measuring 8m wide by 4m high, it sits to the south east of the city centre and close to Piccadilly Station, facing traffic heading into the city from Stockport, Hyde and the M60.
