- The Piccadilly Lights were lit up on Saturday evening by Coca-Cola as the brand hosted a festive sing-along
- The activity was the first ever live karaoke experience on the Piccadilly Lights
Holidays Are Coming and last Saturday, Londoners got into the festive spirit by taking part in the first ever live Christmas karaoke on the world-famous Piccadilly Lights.
Taken over by Coca-Cola, popular carols were projected on the giant London landmark for an hour, inviting festive visitors and shoppers to stop and enjoy a moment of Christmas singing, with a flash mob choir to encourage the festive spirit.
The magical moment was mirror streamed onto the big screen, offering attendees the chance to see themselves on the Piccadilly Lights and share the moment with their friends and family on their social media channels.
Amber Topalcik, senior brand manager at Coca-Cola Great Britain, said: “Christmas is a moment of celebration and sharing great moments together and the Christmas carol sing-along did just that. It was amazing to see so many people join in with the experience – Holidays are definitely coming!”
The Piccadilly Lights takeover was just one part of Coca-Cola’s annual Holidays Are Coming campaign, which this year, is bigger and better than ever before, including the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour and a host of exciting activations and partnerships with the likes of Waze, PAQ and Winterland.
