This Mental Health Awareness Week (12-18 May) we are showcasing two mental health charities across our Digital Out of Home screens.
In Scotland, Scottish Action for Mental Health ran their suicide prevention campaign across our network, with messaging that highlighted the importance of community and conversation, asking the question “What if a conversation about suicide could save a life?”.
In Manchester, one of our 2024 Digital Creative Competition Winners, Frazzled, went live, aligned with Mental Health Awareness Week. Did you know, sixty-nine per cent of Brits make small talk every day about things like the weather, yet 45% of us never open up about how we really feel?.
‘The Feeling Ceiling’, which was created by Frazzled and Revolt, unleashed dynamic weather conditions above visitors’ heads to convey “frazzled” states of mind. The campaign objective was to get Brits talking about how they feel by asking “How’s the weather in your head today?’
Ruby Wax said: “Brits never shut up about the weather. So we start Frazzled sessions by asking ‘How’s the weather in your head today?’ to ease into those deeper conversations. Our ‘Feeling Ceiling’ brings that question to life, in the biggest, boldest way we could imagine. We hope to capture people’s attention and help more people weather their storms with Frazzled.”
At our London based office, we enjoyed a week of optional, mental health focused activities for staff, including a healthy smoothie and snack bar, neck and shoulder massages for staff, and a Restore and Rebalance 60 minute yoga session, led by our Head of Labs, Melanie Blood.
