Marking the grand opening of Universal Epic Universe, Universal Pictures became the latest campaign to be projected onto the iconic façade of Battersea Power Station.
With the launch of Epic Universe, Universal Pictures needed to make a statement. The goal? To complete a remarkable stunt and have supersized impact to introduce the new worlds – and Ocean Projections was the only way to do that.
Universal Pictures gave audiences a first look at the five show-stopping worlds of Epic Universe with a standout OOH projections moment on Battersea Power Station. Generating excitement with a countdown broadcast, crowds built in anticipation. In the 2 hour long projection, the five worlds were projected on the front of the power station in full motion, celebrating the opening of Universal Orland Resort’s newest theme park.
Designed to deliver huge scale and become a viral moment, Universal Pictures had the perfect combination – standout Ocean projections technology, and one of London’s most culturally and architecturally renowned landmarks.
