Last night, Ocean successfully partnered with Hunter for their London Fashion Week catwalk show. In a UK first, the show, designed by their Creative Director Alasdhair Willis, was streamed live on Ocean’s network of full motion locations across the UK, The Grid, allowing members of the public in key UK city centres to share in what would usually be a ‘behind closed doors’ event. The show was also streamed globally on the brand’s social media portals.
The catwalk show was hosted at the Albert Embankment Warehouse and was attended by a large number of the esteemed fashion community, including Alasdhair’s wife, Stella McCartney. The show was a visual spectacular both in terms of staging and the latest collections from the Hunter brand, with the catwalk surrounded by 7 metre high waterfalls – the creative idea stems back to the brand’s heritage, presenting a journey from the urban environment to the wilds of the Scottish Highlands.
Prior to the catwalk show, Willis’ passion for using Digital out of Home to stream the brand’s most impactful catwalk show yet, was catalogued by a range of titles, not least the most famous of fashion titles, Vogue.
