On Friday 7 June, the much-anticipated Childline Sports Day returns to raise support for the NSPCC’s vital Childline Services and registrations are now open for you to get involved. Childline is a helpline that provides confidential advice to young people under the age of 19 to give them a voice, promote empowerment and provide crucial safeguarding services.

Coinciding with Children’s Day, this annual event has become firmly established in the UK media landscape, raising an impressive £620,000 over the past two years. With over 1,000 influential media figures expected to attend, its impact promises to be significant once again.

The day will be jam-packed with competitive fun as teams are invited to take part in a variety of challenges, from traditional sports to unique contests. The ultimate prize will be the team title of Childline Sports Day 2024 Champions and the coveted Sports Day Trophy.

This year, Ocean Outdoor is the proud media sponsor of the event. They are supporting the NSPCC with a recruitment campaign across its Out of home screens, as a platform to encourage teams to sign up for the games.

Ocean Outdoor UK CEO Phil Hall says: “In an Olympic and Paralympic year, we are proud to get behind Childline, starting with an out of home campaign in London, Manchester, and Glasgow. We want to encourage as many people as possible to enter a team, boost industry bonding and raise funds for a great cause by all working together.”
