As part of our widespread commitment to celebrating Pride, this year our screens were illuminated across Manchester, Liverpool, London and Birmingham. Showcasing messages of inclusivity and unity for the LGBTQ+ community.
Pride in Manchester
Part of Manchester’s story since 2011, our screens promoted the upcoming parade and party at Gay Village, headlined by Leigh-Anne and Nelly Furtado. In the heart of the city, The Screen at Gateway Piccadilly captured passerby and built excitement for the weekend.

Pride in London, Piccadilly Lights
In the heart of capital, we joined forces with Pride London for their ‘Volunqueer campaign’. For this year’s campaign, Pride in London called on community members and allies to Volunqueer, shining a spotlight on the everyday heroes already undertaking acts of selflessness through a striking series of images.
As the Pride parade passed through Piccadilly Circus with over 32,000 participants, the artwork appeared in six 10 minute bursts for two and a half hours. The Piccadilly Lights space was donated by Landsec.
The campaign was also carried across our Canary Wharf and London Westfield network.

Continuing the Pride celebrations, Sky Creative also shared their campaign on Piccadilly Lights, joining Just Eat and Tesco on The Screen @ Carnaby Street, nestled in the heart of Soho.

Tim Noblett, Pride in London’s Director of Marketing said “Ocean Outdoor’s generous support, through their continued partnership, has been instrumental in helping us bring ‘Volunqueer’ to life. Their commitment to using their platform for good has ensured the campaign reaches as many people as possible and has the biggest potential impact.”

Pride in Birmingham
On May bank holiday weekend, Birmingham Pride took over the city of Birmingham with their LGBTQ+ celebration and annual parade. Across our D6 Network, our screens promoted the main stage event that was headlined by Cascada and Clean Bandit.
