Disney+ generated 200k social media impressions on their TikTok post featuring Piccadilly Lights and special cast appearance.
Disney+ set out to build excitement and anticipation for their upcoming series, A Thousand Blows. Using immersive storytelling, whilst building suspense and curiosity in one of London’s busiest areas, The West End.
Using Ocean Labs DeepScreen® technology, the Victorian drama was brought to a whole new dimension. Marking the domination moment, cast members Erin Doherty and Malachi Kirby attended the showing on Piccadilly Lights for a PR moment, watching as it unfolded on screen.
The duo were filmed stood in front of Piccadilly Lights, reacting to the campaign in real time. The video was then posted on Disney+ TikTok channel, amassing over 200k social media impressions. In contrast, the conventional ‘A Thousand Blows’ brand trailer post was shared on Instagram and reached 55k impressions.
