Outdoor media owner Ocean Outdoor is making the most of its affluent Mayfair neighbourhood by opening its own Art of Outdoor gallery showcasing its iconic outdoor canvases.
Ocean has taken over four window spaces in its St James’s Street headquarters in Central London to exhibit the use of inspirational images of super premium digital and iconic large banner formats.
The gallery opening coincides with London 2012 as Ocean’s base in Mayfair is a centre to many of the Olympic teams and sponsors in addition to the large number of private clubs, art galleries, luxury hotels and restaurants and the iconic 16th century St James’s Palace.
The new window displays are curated by Ocean Marketing Director Richard Malton who said: “What a great way to cement our premium links to global brands and property owners through a window gallery reaching some of the world’s most influential business and financial people who will be frequenting Mayfair this Summer.”
Ocean has just opened its annual Art of Outdoor competition which sets out to find the best creative work in digital outdoor advertising, including full motion, subtle motion and interactivity. Entries are open to August 31 and there will be an awards event at London’s IMAX on October 11.
