ITV’s Good Morning Britain demonstrated solidarity with the England football team today (July 16) with live sequences featuring a powerful message which was carried across Ocean Outdoor digital screens in Manchester and Birmingham.
The message, ‘Win Together – Lose Together – We All Stand Together’, appeared on the Manchester Printworks and Two Towers Birmingham as GMB presenters reflected on the highs and lows of the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament, ending with the very clear message that the love and support of many has overcome the blatant racism of the few.
Ocean joint managing director Phil Hall said: “Ocean has an extremely close relationship with sport and football in particular. The events following the Euros on Sunday were shocking. After a really tough week, we stand proud with the England team and shoulder to shoulder with Good Morning Britain and the rest of the industry in the condemnation of racism.”
