Some 25 years and a bit more ago, two young media bucks, Ocean Group CEO Tim Bleakley and UKOM CEO Ian Dowds, agreed they’d run the London Marathon together IF AND WHEN they reached the combined age of 100 years old, and if they were still on speaking terms. That time has now come and, remarkably, they still are.
They’re running this year to raise £25,000 for the London Air Ambulance ,which is Ocean Group’s chosen charity. A charity that has so much significance for everyone who lives and works in London.
Tim and Ian love a target and a finishing time for each of them of less than 4 hours and 20 minutes is their joint aim.
