As part of Ocean’s commitment to our dedicated charity, London’s Air Ambulance, we are hoping to raise £20,014 in 2014. The charity operates from the Royal London Hospital involving many people, from super skilled doctors who treat the injured on our streets every day, pilots who operate the helicopter offering the tight conditions for these immense procedures to occur, and the operational team who have to make the torturous decision as to which call they go to.
Sometimes they have to choose.
Why? Because there is only one helicopter to service 10 million Londoners, whilst Paris has 6 helicopters and Sydney has 9.
As the official media partner for Run Hackney – the latest half marathon in London which takes you through the Olympic Park – Ocean are giving 50 people exclusive access to places to run, and join us in helping to raise these all important funds.
