Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) kick off two-city Diaspora tour with official trophy unveiling inside The Venue and DeepScreen® takeover.
To mark the return of the Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON aimed to create a night of celebration that paid tribute to African football, culture and community. The event needed to unite fans and build excitement ahead of AFCON 2025, which kicks off in Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.

The first stop of their two-part Diaspora tour was Piccadilly Circus, where the evening unfolded with a fusion of African identity and heritage.
Inside The Venue, influencers and fans enjoyed live musical and cultural performances from artists such as Stonebwoy, and an intimate panel discussion with football legends who have been at the centre of the game including Alex Song, and Arsenal co-owner David Dein. The evening continued with a live DJ set while fans eagerly awaited the unveiling of the AFCON trophy, the perfect photo opportunity.
Outside, Piccadilly Lights had its own 10-minute domination moment, featuring the official AFCON 2025 campaign in DeepScreen®, showcasing the power of using an experience led stage to tell stories.
