We handpick only the busiest and best Places for our screens, and we operate the most iconic in Out of home advertising in the Netherlands. These Ask for it by name® locations include Amsterdam Leidseplein, Westfield Mall of the Netherlands, Rotterdam Binnenwegplein and The Bee Hotel. With a national
network of 191 locations and 348 screens, more than 20 million contacts are reached every day.
Our uniqueness also comes from our networks at scale, such as The Grid, Always On and The Loop. We are the only DOOH media owner with a national, city centre offering in large and small format, with 50% of our screens offering full motion.
Coming together for creative excellence
We have built our relationships on trust and over time, and value our connections with media agencies, creative agencies, brands and landlords equally. The best reflection of this is when we bring everyone together at our best-in-class industry events, such as our Digital Creative Competition. These relationships include managing exclusive long term contracts with landlords and public authorities such as Westfield, ASR Real Estate, Wereldhave and Emmen.
Insight led
We’ve always had an insight led approach, having pioneered Neuroscience in DOOH for 10 years. We recognise our ongoing responsibilities are to test and prove the effectiveness of DOOH.
Since 2019 Ocean is also affiliated with Outreach/BRO – trade organization of Out of Home operators in the Netherlands
Creatively driven
Although we know the value of a data led business, we are driven by the power of good creative advertising above all else. Whether it’s pitching ideas to our partners, launching the latest from Ocean Studio such as DeepScreen® Alive or the Ocean brand itself, we are known for going the extra mile. We have proven this every year since launching our Digital Creative Competition in 2009 in the UK and in 2021 in the Netherlands. Six winners to-date have gone onto win at Cannes and we’ve celebrated countless more across our screens.

Our capabilities span two innovation teams: Ocean Labs and Ocean Studio.
