(Senior) Account Manager

Ocean Outdoor Netherlands is the market leader in Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH), a specialisation within the Out-of-Home sector. We work closely with advertisers, media agencies and advertising agencies that use our screens. Ocean Outdoor has been operating in the Netherlands for six years and also has offices in the UK, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Germany. Our Amsterdam office is home to over 50 enthusiastic colleagues. To expand our sales team in Amsterdam, we are looking for a (Senior) Account Manager.

What will you do
As an Account Manager at Ocean Outdoor, you’ll be responsible for translating our clients’ marketing and communication needs into effective (Digital) Out of Home campaigns. You’ll build and maintain long-term client relationships, identify opportunities in the market and actively contribute to the further growth of our turnover. Your responsibilities will include:

• managing your own client portfolio consisting of advertisers, media agencies and other commercial partners;
• advising clients on the creative and strategic use of outdoor advertising solutions;
• selling media space on both our city and road networks of large-format digital screens, totems, highway masts and other media objects;
• developing and presenting high-quality, bespoke proposals, campaigns and quotations;
• actively generating new business and expanding your network;
• reporting results and forecasting turnover via CRM systems;
• working closely with internal departments such as Planning, Marketing, Ocean Studio and Ocean Labs.

Who are you

• A completed higher professional education (HBO) degree, preferably in a commercial field;
• At least 3 years’ relevant work experience in sales within the media or advertising sector;
• A strong commercial drive and a passion for brands, media and impactful campaigns;
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to persuade;
• A proactive and enterprising attitude, with a focus on both results and relationships;
• You have knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software;
• A hands-on mentality; you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves, you’re enterprising and take the initiative.
