Want to make an impact over 650 metres? You can on The Wall.
At 800 metres long, The Wall is the longest building in the Netherlands. This building serves both as a noise barrier and as a leisure and hospitality venue for the local area. This unique venue is a fully-fledged shopping centre featuring, among others, an Amac, a Decathlon and the Official F1 Racing Centre. With over 1,200 parking spaces on the roof of the building, The Wall attracts more than 2.5 million visitors annually. As well as being a destination in its own right, 200,000 people drive past The Wall every day on the A2. From commuters travelling to and from Amsterdam to leisure traffic heading in and out of the city of Utrecht, they all pass The Wall.
The Wall consists of two large screens, each measuring over 100 mΒ². Alongside and between these screens are five LED facades which, together, add over 600 metres of exposure. This means The Wall comprises 2,400 mΒ² of LED screens that drivers pass by.
