One of Swedens largest and oldest shopping malls.
If you are looking for a shopping center with history, Täby centrum is perhaps the oldest you can find. The fact is that this shopping center was built in an Iron Age village, more precisely in Tibble gård. This location has been a geographically superior one and is still important today as public transportation meets here.
To do something sensational and grand in the area, they chose to build Europe’s first glass-enclosed shopping center in the 1960s! The building was completed in 1968 and welcomed visitors from all over the country. Täby centrum had now taken its place as a monument in terms of shops and companies.
