Ocean Outdoor Netherlands is the market leader in Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH), a specialisation within the Out-of-Home sector. You’ve undoubtedly come across us many times, as we have a nationwide network of 191 locations and 348 large-format screens along highways and in shopping and city centres. We work closely with advertisers, media agencies and advertising agencies that use our screens.

Ocean Outdoor has been operating in the Netherlands for six years and also has offices in the UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Germany. Our Amsterdam office is home to over 50 enthusiastic colleagues. To expand our team in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Photographer (40 hours per week). 

What will you do

As a Photographer, you’ll capture our outdoor campaigns on camera, from still photography to drone footage and video. You’ll ensure that clients see their campaigns come to life and that our marketing team has access to inspiring visual content for the web, social media and presentations.

You will:

• take high-quality photos and videos of outdoor campaigns as after-sales material for clients;
• create inspiring visual content for marketing, communications and social media;
• work with various forms of media: photography, video and drone footage;
• edit and optimise images in line with our brand identity;
• draw up your own schedule and monitor deadlines;
• select the best locations, moments and angles;
• ensure that every image is technically and visually perfect;
• work closely together with marketing and studio teams on creative projects.

Who are you?

We’re looking for a creative, hands-on photographer with:

• MBO+/HBO level of working and thinking, specialising in photography, audiovisual design or a similar field;
• demonstrable experience in photography, videography and drone filming (with the relevant certifications);
• proficiency in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere Pro (or similar);
• experience in independently planning, producing and delivering projects;
• you are enterprising and take the initiative;
• you have a passion for media and advertising and bring campaigns to life in a way that creates added value for both clients and the company;
• technical knowledge of cameras, lighting and post-production;
• a Category B driving licence and a willingness to travel within the Netherlands.
