Account Executive

Ocean Outdoor Netherlands is the market leader in Digital-Out-Of-Home (DOOH), a specialisation within Out-Of-Home. You’ve undoubtedly come across us many times, as we have a nationwide network of 191 locations and 348 large-format screens along motorways and in shopping and city centres. We work closely with advertisers, media agencies and advertising agencies that use our screens. Ocean Outdoor has been operating in the Netherlands for six years and also has offices in the UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Germany. Our Amsterdam office is home to over 50 enthusiastic colleagues.

To expand our team in Amsterdam, we are currently looking for an Account Executive to join us with immediate effect.

What will you do
As an Account Executive, you’ll be part of Ocean Outdoor’s commercial team. You’ll work closely with the Account Managers to ensure optimal information flow and campaign planning. 
Your responsibilities will include:

• drawing up proposals in consultation with the Account Managers;
• processing proposals in planning systems;
• maintaining operational contact with advertisers and media agencies;
• maintaining contact with both media and creative agencies regarding the correct delivery of campaign materials;
• working with Account Managers to identify market opportunities for Ocean Outdoor;
• handling after-sales support together with the Account Manager;

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a hands-on approach who is enterprising and has:

• a completed MBO/HBO degree, preferably in a commercial field;
• you have excellent language and communication skills and can persuade others both verbally and in writing. You have a keen eye for language and are able to deliver quality work in all forms of communication, from emails to presentations;
• you work independently and are used to working to tight deadlines. You have a strong sense of responsibility and always keep track of the big picture, even when deadlines are fast approaching;
• you work well together with others and are a true team player. You work in a structured manner and ensure that you always work accurately and clearly, even in complex situations;
• you have a passion for media and advertising and are keen to put your acquired knowledge into practice to create value for both clients and the company;
• you are proficient in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
