AMSTERDAM, 24 June; With the Ocean Impact Fund, Social Enterprise NL and Ocean Outdoor enter into a new partnership. With this, Ocean will help social enterprises expand their reach to make even more impact.
Social Enterprise NL is the national network for social enterprises, which already has 450+ social enterprises affiliated and the entire social enterprise movement is growing rapidly every year. They drive the impact economy by strengthening and connecting social enterprises.
Leonie Bank of Social Enterprise said: ‘We are extremely happy to revive our partnership with Ocean Outdoor. Thanks to the Ocean Impact Fund, social enterprises can greatly increase their visibility and thus their impact. This is much needed for achieving radical systemic improvement’.
With the Ocean Impact Fund, Ocean makes its nationwide network available on special terms and at a very attractive price. The fund was first launched in 2021 under the name Ocean Blue Fund. Starting this year, the companies are working together again and even more powerfully.
Jorinde Hehanussa of Ocean Outdoor: ‘With the Ocean Impact Fund, we want to support and help grow companies focused on solving a social problem. In addition, with this we want to be a networking partner of the entire social enterprise sector.’
Last weekend, 22 and 23 June, Dopper was the first company to take advantage of this opportunity, with their campaign ‘Refill and drink from the tap’ which was featured on several screens in the Ocean City network and on two masts at Schiphol Airport.
Audrey Schillings of Dopper: ‘Bold goals require bold actions! For this year’s World Refill Day campaign, we collaborated with our Social Enterprise allies from Ocean Outdoor. We took over the streets (and highways!) of the Netherlands and asked people to join us in our fight against packaged water’
