This is the Bee-Hive: the first advertising mast in the world with a bee hotel. The green strip is sown with 40-50 species of native organic perennial flowers. A steel honeycomb structure is made around the mast, which is filled with nest boxes with prunings from Utrecht and FSC wood chips for bees. In spring 2020, all flowers will bloom and bees, bumblebees and butterflies can use the facilities.
 
This double digital advertising mast is located along the A2 near Utrecht, opposite The Wall. The mast has two billboards: one facing Amsterdam and one facing Vianen. The A2 runs from the Nieuwe Utrechtsebrug near Amsterdam via Utrecht, ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Eindhoven to Maastricht. The A2 is 212 km long. The service area of ​​this advertising mast – based on TomTom data – extends from The Hague, Leiden and Amsterdam to Breda, Tilburg and Eindhoven. The A2 is in the top 10 of evening traffic jams.
